From November 27, 2021 to March 31, 2022
The Château du Clos de Vougeot will host, starting this Saturday, November 27, 2021, an exceptional exhibition of tapestries from the seventeenth to the twentieth century, from different collections: the private collection of Hugues Helffer, entrepreneur and lover of arts and wine, the Curie family, and the Brotherhood of the Knights of Tastevin.
These unique tapestries, related to the world of wine, will be on display to the public until March 31, in the Grand and Petit Celliers of the Château. Visitors will be able to admire scenes of grape harvests, feasts, the chariot of Bacchus or his triumph, skilfully represented on these original pieces.
Among the moderns, pieces by Jean LURÇAT (1892-1966), Jean PICART LE DOUX (1902-1982) and Michel Tourlière (1925-2004) are to be discovered.
Exhibition included in the visit of the Château du Clos de Vougeot.
