We are pleased to announce that the Château du Clos de Vougeot will open its doors to visitors again from Wednesday 13 May 2020.
In line with the government's lifting of the current lockdown restrictions and to ensure the safety of visitors and Château employees, we would like to bring to your attention some new guidelines concerning your visit to the Château.
OPENING HOURS AND TOURS
From 1 July 2020, the Château du Clos de Vougeot will be open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm.
Tickets are obtainable on our website page for the SELF GUIDED-TOUR and for GUIDED-TOUR directly at the reception.
THE TOUR OF THE CHÂTEAU DU CLOS DE VOUGEOT
Your tour of the Château takes you through the 12th century vat-house, the petit and grand celliers and the well-chamber located in the Renaissance wing. In the old dormitary, you can watch the short film Jamais en vain, toujours en Vin, in which Julian Sands narrates the story of the Confrérie de Chevaliers du Tastevin.
Because the limited space makes circulation difficult, we have been temporarily obliged to close the Renaissance kitchens and the monks' dormitory.
PROTECTION AND CLEANING PROTOCOL
We have put in place a number of measures to ensure the safety of our visitors.
Firstly, the wearing of the mask is mandatory at the castle.
In order to avoid counter-flows, visitors are particularly requested to follow the arrows indicating the prescribed sense of the circuit.
Pedal-operated hand-sanitizer dispensers have been installed at strategic points on the circuit.
The Sensorial Experiences have been temporarily suspended.
We thank you for your comprehension and look forward to seeing you in the near future. If you would like further information, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us, either by phone: +33 3 80 62 86 09, or by e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
