The work redraws the history of the vineyard and the wine on our territory, since the introduction of the first stocks by Greek colons in the region of Marseille until the dawn of the XIXth century. The very first drops of wine flowed into the South of the Caucase 8 000 years ago. It is the Greeks who, during the five centuries preceding the conquest of the Gaul by Caesar, supply to our ancestors the invaluable nectar about which they are crazy but whom they do not still produce themselves.
