This work presents a way funny to reconstitute a meal of abbey in the Middle Ages: 14 unpublished, original and easily practicable recipes are so proposed to realize a complete menu: entrances, dishes, cheeses and desserts. The book also presents a large number of information on the kitchen practised in the abbeys which propose a well-balanced diet giving way to the pleasures (wines, beers, cheeses, candy).
