The Château's resident chef and his team are internationally renowned for their skill in preparing the mouthwatering menus enjoyed by the hundreds of guests at the celebrated Chapitre banquets. For them, nothing is too much trouble and they are at your complete disposal. Served à l'anglaise (as laid down by the strict rules of the Rabelaisian gastronomic code), each dish is further elevated by the painstaking expertise of our sommeliers.
No-one comes to the Château du Clos de Vougeot on a mere whim. You come because you know you are guaranteed a unique and unforgettable experience.

Experts in the art of gastronomic match-making

On the gastronomic side, our master-chef, backed up by his team of cooks and pastrycooks, will devise and suggest seasonal recipes prepared in the Château's kitchens from the best produce Burgundy's terroir can offer. As for the cellar, our sommeliers are past-masters in the art of matching food with tasteviné wines from Burgundy's climats, specially selected by the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin.
