To meet the challenge of a summer season unlike any other, the Château du Clos de Vougeot has dreamed up an ephemeral nomadic intimist restaurant that will delight lovers of wine, good food and fine architecture.
In the very heart of this historic building, discover the traditional cuisine of our Chef Stéphane Ory and his team. For the space of a summer's evening, surrender yourself to a magical combination of a unique cultural heritage and culinary savoir-faire.
A 7.30 rendezvous for diners wishing to stroll around the Château, before being summoned by the dinner bell at eight.

Menu "AU FIL DE LA BOURGOGNE", 145€ inclusive of tax

Enjoy a menu of five courses made up of recipes focused on prime-quality, in-season, locally produced ingredients. You will be accompanied throughout the evening by our sommelier who will serve five emblematic burgundies in complete harmony with the dishes: a voyage au fil de la Bourgogne, that will take you to Rully, Meursault, Savigny or Vougeot...
The menu includes one glass of wine (7cl) served with each course. The wine selection is intended for the entire table.

Menu "SUR LA ROUTE DES CLIMATS", 195€ inclusive of tax

This menu is an invitation for a voyage through Burgundy's food and winegrowing landscape, in the guise of five dishes matched with five wines including two Grands Crus. Embark on a journey along the Route des Climats, from Nuits-Saint-Georges to Pommard, or possibly the Clos de Vougeot, via the Hill of Corton...
The menu includes one glass of wine with each course, mineral water and coffee. The wine selection is intended for the entire table.
Dinner served at 8.00pm in the Cour d'Honneur, the Renaissance rooms or the Great Cellar (depending on the weather).
"Un soir d'été au Clos de Vougeot" is open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings from July 9th 2020.

Stéphane Ory, resident Chef of the Château du Clos de Vougeot.

These two new eating experiences are the opportunity for the Château du Clos de Vougeot to present its new resident chef, Stéphane Ory.
Originally from the Sarthe, this gastronomic virtuoso honed his skills in some of Paris' most prestigious three-star establishments: at Chez Prunier under chef Roger Lamazère, at Le Taillevent and Le Café Jamin with Joël Robuchon, not forgetting ten years as second in command to three-star chef and Meilleur Ouvrier de France Frédéric Anton at the Pré Catelan. In January, he took over from chef Olivier Walch as Commander in Chief of the Château's kitchens. He intends to use his culinary creativity to increase awareness of Burgundy's cuisine, matching traditional recipes with the region's tasteviné wine.

A gastronomic virtuoso, Master-Chef Ory has abandoned Paris. Originally from the Sarthe, he was formerly in charge at Chez Prunier, saw service in the kitchens of Le Taillevent and Le Jamin alongside Joël Robuchon, and was second-in-command under Meilleur Ouvrier de France Frédéric Anton for over ten years at the Pré Catelan.
